Rotary Volunteers attend the in-person STEM visit days on the second week of the NYSF Year 12 Program. These Rotary Volunteers provide first aid and pastoral care to the students and support to the Student Staff team.

We are delighted to be able to call once again for your invaluable assistance for in-person STEM visits in Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne between 16 & 19 January 2023.

As part of our duty of care to students, staff and volunteers, we ask that anyone volunteering with the NYSF have the following in place by the commencement of the visits:

  • Current state-based Working with Children Checks
  • Current first aid and CPR (HLTAID011)
  • Up-to-date COVID vaccination (including third booster)

To register your interest: We ask potential volunteers to please fill in this survey by Friday 29 October https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/JBXFLLB.

We will be in contact with you following receipt of your information.

We appreciate any assistance you can provide to help us deliver these planned events. We anticipate needing the following numbers of Rotary volunteers:

  • Brisbane: 7-8 volunteers
  • Sydney: 7-8 volunteers
  • Newcastle: 3-4 volunteers
  • Canberra: 4-5 volunteers
  • Melbourne: 7-8 volunteers

Ideally, volunteers will be available for the whole day, however, we understand that this may not always be possible.

Please reach out to Frances at programs@nysf.edu.au if you would like to discuss anything about the visits.

Thank you,

The NYSF Team
