Students who participated in the NYSF Year 12 Program have the option to attend the follow-up NYSF Next Step programs later in the year.
Held during school holidays in April and June/July each year, the Next Step Programs run in collaboration with our funding partner universities across Australia and our partners from the corporate sector, as well as particular research organisations. These programs are specifically designed for NYSF students to extend and develop their knowledge of courses, facilities, scholarships and accommodation on the different university campuses, allowing a comparison with campuses and colleges they saw on session in January.
Our industry partners provide in-house workshops and facility tours, and insights into current research, generally not readily accessible to the public. Students will also have the opportunity to meet and talk to employees.
Participants from the NYSF Year 12 Program are encouraged to attend as many of these events as they would like throughout the year.
