During the first week of the NYSF, each of the groups formed went on science related visits around Canberra. Einstein visited many interesting research facilities and industries, all of them giving us some insight into the physics world and how it is evolving.

The Royal Australian Mint :- Our money (only coins) comes from here. We visited the mint on the 8th of January. This writeup is by Lauris and Kelly.

Australian Defense Force Academy :- We visited ADFA on the 8th of January. Salvatore was the one to write about this visit.

The Research School of Physical Sciences and Engineering :- This report was supposed to be written up by Susan and Jo. We visited this research school on the 9th of January.

Mount Stromolo :- This awesome observatory in Canberra was visited on the 10th of January. Teresa and Rachel did this awesome report.

Laser Physics Centre :- This is a laser research facility at the ANU. We visited it on the 10th of January. Thanks to Paul and Andrea for this one.

ANU Physics Department :- Well, the physics department at the ANU was written up by Jolyon and John. They were graced with our presence on the 11th of January.

Electronic Materials Engineering :- Kester and Sandeep got this report in 2 days before the due date. It was on the 11th of January that we visited the EME research facility.
